How can I watch a Committee Meeting?

Committees of the Northern Ireland Assembly meet regularly and members of the public are welcome to attend. However, we understand that not everyone is able to make it to Parliament Buildings and with limited spaces available we offer a number of alternative solutions.

Watch live online
You can watch Committee meetings that take place in the Senate Chamber, Room 30 and Room 29 on our website or via Democracy Live. Visit our Live Coverage page to see which meetings are being streamed.

Take a look at what goes on behind the scenes with the Assembly Broadcasting team.

Listen Again
Recorded audio coverage of committee meetings will be available within 24 hours of the meeting taking place. Visit our Listen Again page to get links to the individual Committee pages. You can also listen via Soundcloud on the web or via mobile apps.

The Official Report
The Official Report is a substantially verbatim transcript of the proceedings; it records what was said as well as what was decided. Official Reports (also known as Minutes of Evidence) are published for some Committee meetings - generally those meetings, or parts of meetings, that involve the consideration of legislation or the taking of evidence as part of a Committee inquiry. You can view transcripts from each Committee on our Official Reports page.

Minutes of Proceedings
Minutes from each meeting are available on the individual Committee webpages.
