Funfing is also available from departmental mainstream projects that have an Ulster-Scots, Irish-language or cultural dimension that cannot be separate from the primary funding objectives.

Funding for Lambeg Drumming was another area that the Minister had to answer question on by Sydney Anderson MLA, John Dallat MLA and Robin Swann. The Minister thanked the members for their questions and said “ The Lambeg drumming associations have received funding from the Arts Council, the Ulster-Scots Agency and the ministerial advisory group. If there is a demand for additional funding based on evidence of need, the agencies will happily consider it. It is good to see that the Lambeg drumming association have such widespread support throughout the House today”.
